Our Sashiko denim is made for those who appreciate the details. Woven with a traditional Japanese running stitch, it brings depth, strength, and a rich texture that sets it apart from regular weaves. Though it weighs in at 12oz, the dense structure feels closer to a heavyweight fabric. Made from 100% cotton, it delivers that mix of heritage, durability, and character true denim enthusiasts look for. You cannot go wrong with our best selling Sashikos.

Denim/Canvas/Whipcord
Wash at 30°C / 86°F with low or no spin. Hang dry. Do not tumble dry.
Denim: a first soak in a tub/sink is fine.
Waxed canvas: Spot clean with cold water only! Never machine wash, dry clean, or use heat.

Leather products
Clean with mild soap/leather cleaner and a soft cloth. Wipe with a damp cloth and air dry away from heat/sun. Condition with leather grease. For extra dryness, use leather oil.

Shrinkage & stretch
Not pre-washed: expect up to 1″ shrinkage in waist and inseam. With wear, the waist/high-stress areas stretch back about 1″.

Chest is measured pit to pit. Shoulder is seam to seam across the back. Sleeve runs from the shoulder seam down to the cuff. Hem is the bottom opening measured flat across. Length runs from the base of the collar down to the hem. Chest, shoulder, sleeve and hem are the same across the whole jacket lineup. Only the length changes, so set the selector to the jacket you are ordering.
