Our 17oz brown duck canvas is a heavy 100% cotton workwear fabric with a firm, structured feel and a classic utility look. Woven in a tight plain weave, it’s dense and highly abrasion-resistant one of the toughest fabrics we work with. The brown colourway offers a versatile alternative to indigo, styling just as easily with a plain tee as it does dressed up with a chambray or denim shirt. Expect a slow, subtle shift in tone over time rather than dramatic fading, with the fabric softening and molding to you while holding its structured shape.
This version features a double front construction, adding an extra layer of canvas across the thighs and knees for reinforced durability.

PRODUCT CARE
Denim/Canvas/Whipcord
Wash at 30°C / 86°F with low or no spin. Hang dry. Do not tumble dry.
Denim: a first soak in a tub/sink is fine.
Waxed canvas: Spot clean with cold water only! Never machine wash, dry clean, or use heat.
Leather products
Clean with mild soap/leather cleaner and a soft cloth. Wipe with a damp cloth and air dry away from heat/sun. Condition with leather grease. For extra dryness, use leather oil.
Shrinkage & stretch
Not pre-washed: expect up to 1″ shrinkage in waist and inseam. With wear, the waist/high-stress areas stretch back about 1″.
