At 33oz, the fabric holds its own shape before it takes yours, and the first weeks are a negotiation. It decides how you walk and sit. Break them in and they become the pair nothing else measures up to. A pair of jeans reflecting your lifestyle.

Spun from 100% Australian long staple cotton, rope dyed with the finest of indigo, then twisted before weaving. Twisting the yarns is the only true route to this weight. There are no shortcuts.
The weft is left cotton raw. Every crease cuts through the indigo to white underneath, so the fades come in hard and sharp. Electric! The texture promises a unique fading journey, with each crease and whisker telling a story of dedication and wear.

WHY WE CAN ONLY MAKE SO FEW
A vintage GA1515 that turns out 120 yards a day of normal denim manages around 30 yards of the 33oz. Waste runs 25 to 30% against 5% on regular denim. A loom making 33oz needs one dedicated worker overseeing it, when that same worker could oversee 8 looms weaving regular denim.
The looms keep breaking. Machines built a century ago were never meant to carry this weight, and the mills are increasingly reluctant to run it.
We keep working with the mill to make it happen. Without any guarantees.

A first soak in a tub/sink is fine.
Shrinkage & stretch
Not pre-washed: expect up to 1″ shrinkage in waist and inseam. With wear, the waist/high-stress areas stretch back about 1″.
